Here’s a another song by John Prine, who died of Covid-19 last year. It’s about old people, and I find it very beautiful. Joan Baez says it’s one of the most requested songs in her repertoire. Amazingly, Prine wrote it when he was about 25. “Hello in There” again demonstrates his great sensitivity and story-telling genius.
